    Sturdy, attractive, but heavy

My Nomad Queen size bed platform was very easy to assemble. The assembled platform is strong and does not squeak or jiggle. I stained my platform before assembly with Watco med Danish oil. Staining was trickier than i anticipated, but areas of unevenness gradually disappeared and Im now glad that i stained. Some platform beds have slats that are slightly bowed, giving the mattress an added bit of spring, but this platform uses flat slats. I bought 4, 2 wheeled casters and attached them to the legs, so that I can wheel the platform and mattress away from the wall when I change sheets. This worked for me, and was one reason i bought a wood platform; but attaching the casters was iffy. The one negative thing about the platform is the weight - it is extremely heavy. However, when moving the platform, the weight can be reduced by almost 1/2 by removing the slats (which can be lifted away without a tool). By the way, the wood is not poplar, but tulip poplar, which is denser and far stronger than poplar.

    phenominal

I bought this for my parents. it was very easy to assemble, beautiful solid wood and best part its made in Georgia. it comes with easy to read instructions. what i really liked the best though was that it arrived in minimal packaging: no stirofom, no extra junk that would just be thrown away, only the best fitting giant jenga puzzle (essentially the wood wrapped tightly together in cellophane). nothing arrived damaged and had all the parts. so far my parents really like it. BUY THIS

Great bed frame for reasonable price

Very easy to assemble, great eco friendly design for a bed frame.

Just what I was looking for

I was trying to save more space in my room and found this plataform bed as I was about to give up on my search. Im so glad I did! It took my husband about 50 minutes to put this and the trundle together (bought separately). He painted it white but the natural wood color is also beautiful. I bought a 10inch Lucid mattress and its a few inches short than the plataform but is not something I really mind or feel like itll affect the bed performance.

Bed frame is rock solid. Wish my stain ability matched.

    Needs glue?

I like that it doesnt squeak when you move on it. I didnt give it five stars because the Dowels that hold the board that is at the foot of the bed keep on loosening and that creates a gap where it meets with the other board. I dont know if I should put wood glue on it to hold it tightly together. The other thing is that it seemed a bit small for my memory foam matress. The bed overflows a bit over the edges. Otherwise good bargain for the money.

    A simple, easy bed frame

I like this frame. I wanted something simple and small since I move around a lot. Having a bed that can be easily assembled was a priority. It holds the weight of me (f 125) and my heavy Casper mattress. No squeaks or breaks a few months in! It comes unfinished so painting is ready to go if you like. Only downside is there isnt a headboard, but you can buy a standalone if you like the aesthetic. The bed is high enough to fit my random junk under it too.

    Sturdy But Loud!

Much more sturdy than our last bed frame. However my largest issue is that the bed frame squeaks a lot. It is hard to sleep with how much it squeaks. If some one can tell me how to make it not squeak that would be great.

    Amazing bed!

I love the fact that I was able to buy longer legs through the company website. It added a few inches and now able to store large bins underneath. Its a beautiful frame! No noise whatsoever and extremely sturdy. I love it!

    Better than expected

The dimensions for this bed frame were exactly what I wanted, with no extra weird side legs, or a post in the middle underneath the bed. The only thing I wasnt crazy about was the color, but after doing some research I realized I could stain the frame and refinish it in a color of my liking. The quality of the frame is really great, especially for the price, and it was very simple to put together once I had finished staining. It looks great and feels really sturdy.
