    This is very difficult to,assemble.

I bought this for a kitchen stool, and it is ok to use but so hard to assemble .

very difficult to get the screws in and the little wooden caps will not stay in the slots provided

Nice stool, should last forever. smooth, and not to heavy, I have not been able to get all the screws set with the tool it came from, not enough strength. And ist hard to turn the screw and hold the bar at the same time. Very hard for me, I can't finish getting it together. Other wise it is what I needed.

    Save your money

Stool is terrible. By second day , it was wobbly. Retightened screws - by day 3 screws were falling out. By day 4 stool was unsafe and unusable.

Nice stool - needs better QC and assembly instructions

Its a great still easy to assemble but the parts were lose in the box and fell out all over the place when I opened the box and there was no instruction sheet included leading me to believe this was a return item

    Not terrible, but not great!

All in all, i'd rate this a 7-8 on a scale of 1-10. Why? 1 You have to put this thing together! It consists of the top/seat assembly, 2 leg assemblies, and 4 rungs. Two of the rungs have predrilled screw holes that accept the included screws, which are inserted through pre-drilled countersunk holes in the legs. The seat assembly also attached with 4 of these screws, one in each leg at the top and aligns with a preinserted peg for alignment and I would suppose strength. 2 The screws are included and are require a hex head/allen wrench to assemble. A hex head/Allen wrench is supplied, BUT it is of the short variety. The countersunk holes in the legs are deep enough and the included wrench short enough as to almost render it useless. Not totally, but close. I had to get a T handle allen wrench to be able to insert the screws. 3 Be ready to hold the rungs with screws with your off hand while you tighten with whatever you end up using as your wrench. They will turn if you don't. 4 The quality of the stool is not bad, but not superb either. All in all, not a bad stoool, but it could use some improvement. If you have other tools, you might be okay, but if you don't, or are mechanically challenged....???

    PASS ON BY

Pre drilled holes too large for the supplied screws.

Might Not Be Fun Using Tool As Supplied to Assemble

This is a great product, for what it is. My problem was assembling the thing. There are only eight screws used to put it together, but if you try to use the supplied Allen-Wrench as-is, you will know pain and failure. The Allen Wrench provided just doesn't have the leverage to get the job done. (It's also pretty soft. Be careful to engage the screw fully, and true.) The fix is easy. Just go to your tool chest, and get a pair of large Vice-Grip pliers. Attach to the short end of the wrench, and your problem will be solved. Don't know what Vice-Grips are? Ask your girlfriend. (I'll bet sells them.)

    Very nice and steady

I love this stool! Using it as a stool or side table. I wasnt able to hide screws with those tiny wooden buttons. But it looks nice without them. So I would say its not so difficult to assemble. And as a barstool its on shorter side
