I spent over an hour trying to put this together. The screws will not tighten enough to make the stool sturdy. It's very wobbly and the legs don't sit evenly on the floor. You will also need glue (not included) to attach the wooden screw hole plugs-- they are way too small for the holes and simply fall out whenever you put them in. A waste of money!
This was one of the most difficult products I have ever attempted to assemble and should have been the most simple. They barely provide instructions aside from a few pictures. The tools provided could not possibly work unless you use your own materials to try to rig this product. If someone ever says Put this stool together OR ELSE! I really hope that else isn't too bad because...
Maybe I missed the used part; not enough screws to put it together, nevermind that I thought I read it came fully assembled. Connecting piece of wood fell off. It's in the wood stove now; made great kindling.
Despite long-standing negative reviews about the difficulty of assembling this product, the manufacturers evidently haven't taken steps to make it any easier. After struggling mightily to turn the screws all the way in, I slightly enlarged the screw holes with a 13/64 drill bit, which did the trick and still allowed for a good tight fit. I don't recommend attempting to tighten the screws using a power drill with an allen-wrench bit, which is likely to strip the screws. As many reviewers have mentioned, the little caps to cover the screw holes are useless unless you glue them in. I think the stool looks okay with the screw holes uncovered, frankly.
We had a very small area at the end of our bar and I really wanted to put a stool there. This one was the perfect size. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. Im very happy with it.
I use because of lower back issues and slow healing knee replacement. Have been using a metal legged stool but too short. This works for cooking and doing dishes. Husband put together. Had a little trouble but seems very sturdy. I would recommend.

Bolts come loose
Right these bolts come loose easy. My toddler knocked over the stools a few times and the bolts came loose.
Terrible

Who dares take on the assembly challenge?

cheaply made.
It would be perfect if the screws are not showing from the outysurfaces.
saving space, easy to take care and durable
Good sturdy stool despite the assembly headaches

Just needed a cushion on top and then it would be perfect
Easy to assemble and just the right height.
Exactly what we needed!
