This tent rocks. It was even bigger than we expected! I was concerned about ventilation from the reviews, but it worked amazing. The porch was so nice, especially to help with the dogs. We had no bugs inside! Looking forward to many more trips in this one, hoping its water proof!
This is such a roomy well made tent. Set up first time by myself in 30 minutes .. Second time was a breeze. Had it in the mountains in 70 mph gusts and it held up great..Awesome tent!
This is a great tent, it has held up well on each of our trips and has kept the rain out. The only flaw for us is that the screened in portion is not completely closed, there are two large holes built in at the base of the tent and the screened portion, making it so bugs can get in to the screened area pretty easily. I dont think this detracts from the tent, overall though - because it is well built and well ventilated.
very nice tent with lots of room. the tent was actually bigger than expected. through if you are tall be prepared to have to duck while walking in the tent.
Finally bought a tent for camping rather than borrowing from a friend. Great quality and fits 2 people extremely well, even though I sprawl out in my sleep. Allows a lot of air flow, but keeps the rain out. Its a great tent and I cant wait to do more camping!
I really love this tent. I have three dogs and they can hang out in the front porch relaxing while we sit by the fire. It is always great to have that space to keep shoes and supplies which keep it out of the sleeping quarters.
Perfect for two folks to sleep on cots and plenty of room for storage. I was able to set this up myself for the test before we took on our trip. With my boys assistance at the campsite this went up very easy. Also had rain on Saturday through early Sunday morning and the sleeping area remained completely dry. The screened in area, not so much. I would take in to consideration when setting up that you point the screened in area door slightly downhill, if possible, so that the rainwater that collect inside on the floor can run towards the drain area (small strip about 2-3 inches wide just inside the screen door) and out. I would get better stakes (10-12) as the included ones are the small/simple ones. I had got the 10-pack of the heavier stakes and used them to anchor the base (4) and a couple on the rainfly guy lines (2) and this tent held up well in the wind that kicked up before and after the rainstorm.
I wanted to love this tent but could only give it four stars. I knew the roof wasnt going to cover the entire front porch (from photos and other reviews) so I knew it would get wet if it rained. I was prepared for that and didnt leave anything on the porch I didnt want to get wet (we got rain when we camped and the front porch did get wet).
The annoying part with this tent is with the slant of the front screened area, it is very difficult to reach the zippers at the bottom (from the inside going out; coming in from outside was not a problem). And when you come in for the night you definitely want to make sure the zippers are all fully closed, nice and tight. Again, very difficult to reach. And if it has rained and the screen is wet, you are going to get wet when you reach down to get the zippers (when you are inside) because you have to lean up against the screen to reach the zippers. If bugs are not a concern and you can leave the front porch unzipped, they have nice toggle straps so you can roll back the doors and leave them open. Then the porch is nice. But we could only do that one night; because of bugs we had to keep the front zipped the rest of the time we were camping.
A couple things to note, the top half of the back of the tent is a screen with no window covering other than the rain-fly, so if you use the tent without the rain-fly you will not have much privacy. And the door going into the tent is a single D-style door, opening on the right-side...the entire front part is not a door.
Other than that, this is nice and roomy inside (perfect for 2 adults with lots of gear...we didnt have to worry about anything touching the sides of the tent), it is sturdy and we stayed dry when it rained.
Cant speak to durability but just went for my first run with my Jaybirds that I didnt have to push them back into my ears once. 6 miles of happiness. 4 stars cuz they are expensive for what they are but I will purchase more of these wear out.

Great tent, screened portion is not sealed though.

Excellent tent that kept us dry in the overnight rain.
