It fits four comfortably and five tightly

Got it today and it took about 11 minutes, out of the box, for my son (14) and me to set it up. It fits four comfortably and five tightly. We put five Intext sleeping mats in it and had just a little bit of space left. Looking forward to using it over the Memorial Day weekend.

    Best if bought new

It has the best features. Almost 3 in one tent. If sitting down it can easily fit 10 large people.

This tent was great. We had a queen-sized air mattress and there was probably room for another one (or perhaps one queen and one double). Keep in mind that the dimensions given is for the entire footprint of the tent, which includes the front screened area. It was very comfortable and spacious for our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids at 4 years old), but I like my space so probably wouldnt invite anyone else in. I also like that I was able to walk around without bending my head down (granted Im only 5 tall, but I was still having a hard time on my tiptoe trying to attach the lantern to the center ceiling). It did not rain so I cant comment on how it would hold up, but overall, I would recommend this tent.

    Tent setup and review

The tent is large enough and has plenty of room for a queen-sized mattress with room to spare. Could probably fit a cot beside it. I will let the pictures do the talking here, but I will say that there are three long poles required for set-up of the main unit -- with an additional pole required for the rain-fly. Stakes are required for set-up and the rain-fly is secured by 7 different guy lines. The front sitting area is large enough for two regular size camping chairs and is nice to have. I dont quite get why the back wall is half screen material. As other people have mentioned, while the two side windows in the sleeping area have zippered covers from the inside, the back wall does not. This means that if privacy is desired, the rain-fly has to be put on the tent.

    Perfect for the vertically challenged.

Although we have not used this yet, it really is a disappointment already. We wanted it for the screened vestibule but at 6 2, there is really no room in there to put down a chair and actually sit without your head resting against the screened fabric above (unless you consider traveling with bean bag chairs.) Our old Wentzel, at the same floor size for sleeping, has more headroom. The build quality is great, but there was a missing Guywire and when I contacted , they told me they dont stock replacement parts (like Wentzel does.) The only way to replace the one missing guywire was to ship the whole thing back and get a replacement. Seriously? A $3 part and I have to ship the whole thing back, at my expense? and be without it on the one weekend I need it? Ill stick to their stoves, but leave the tents to Wentzel.

If you purchase this tent you will find that you are required to use the tent fly in order to cover the large back window that has no covering and is just screen. Otherwise you will have no privacy as people can look in the back window. Apart from that, this is a fine tent and the screened in porch type area is great for storage and keeping the inside of the tent clean.

While the tent is great and I like having the walk-in/porch area

While the tent is great and I like having the walk-in/porch area.... I am really unimpressed by the lack of coverage of the rain fly over the porch area. It only covers the back half, so if it rains at all the porch area gets soaked.... and you have to walk through the trapped water to get in and out.... even the morning dew leaves it pretty wet. So my husband ghetto rigged a tarp to extend out and give more coverage, but even with that the rain still is coming in the sides....

    Summer tent

Bought this tent for our first ever camping trip and Id say that it turned out to be an OK tent. Setting up was easy enough, we did a test run in the backyard before we went. This tent is not good for winter camping though. The majority of the back wall of the tent is mesh which means the rainfly has to always be on unless you dont care about privacy. We camped at Sequoia National Park and the nights got pretty cold (July) and with the lack of a rear wall, inside the tent was cold. We were saved from uncomfortable nights because we slept with blankets over our sleeping bags on top of air mattresses. We fit a queen and double air mattress inside perfectly with room to walk and store gear. It could definitely hold two queen mattresses but no more. Id say this tent is perfect for 5 people, 6 max; unless you dont need wiggle room and decide to pack the recommended 8 people (in sleeping bags only) like dead bodies that dont move. The second morning I was surprised to feel moisture on the inside of the wall of the tent from the dew that was sitting on the outside, made me wonder how it would hold up in all out rain. The plus to this tent was the screen room, where we spent most of our time playing cards and taking naps. It can fit 4 folding chairs. It does have a small hole on the base of both sides where the screen room attaches to the tent which would be big enough for ants to get in but we didnt have any bug issues (there wasnt much of a bug issue at Sequoia Park to begin with which was awesome).

I am sure this is a great tent but the cord in the pole for the canopy broke after the first use, and we had three rings break for the stakes to keep it down. otherwise it was nice having the space and the screened portion to put things we didnt want in the tent.

Im still torn on whether or not I like this tent which is why Ive waited 6 months to write this review. We bought this tent for camping in Michigan and chose this particular tent because we wanted the screened in room on the front. The room is great for storing our cooler and shoes and my dog loves going into that part and laying in the shade while we hang out at our campsite. I love that I can get dressed in the tent while standing up and that there is plenty of room for our duffelbag of gear, a full size air mattress and two dog beds with room to spare but - My problems with this tent are two-fold: 1 - the second time that we went to set the tent up, we noticed that the sleeve at the top of the sleeping portion of the tent where the poles go in had ripped from the pole passing through. The tear is only a couple of inches long but now we have to be VERY careful when putting it together (Im going to patch it up as best as I can over the winter). I tried contacting s customer service about this but they wanted a picture of the issue area as well as for us to put an incident in permanent marker by the logo on the tent itself which I dont want to do because if they wont replace it Ill be stuck with a marked up tent. 2- BRR! We camp starting Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend in Michigan and it can get a bit chilly at night to be sleeping outdoors (low 40s). Our previous tent stayed nice and toasty but this tent doesnt have a way to close up the mesh part on the back so it doesnt stay nearly as warm.
