Really happy with how this company handled an honest mistake on their end. It was resolved and I am very happy with the desk. I originally gave a 1 star review but now feel it is appropriate to give them 5 stars. The customer service and follow up email I received from Vivienne was great. Absolutely love this desk. I assembled it by myself and it took about 2 hours, only because I kept stopping and doing other things. Working with the pieces separately, they are not very heavy at all.
BE SURE TO FOLLOW ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS!
I wasnt sure at first because the desk seemed so wobbly, it was sort of hard to get it to stay in place given that the screws seem a bit short for the connections at first due to the fact that you cant tighten everything right away. So I did have slight issue with a couple of the pieces working their way a part before I could get to the final tightening steps. Just be sure to have the bars in the exact position they say or you will be in a world of hurt in the last steps. Hold where they say hold, push where they say push, tighten where they say tighten and youll be fine.
Overall, I love the desk. I bought the white marble version. The desk top is matte, not shiny, so if you are looking for shiny marble, this is not for you. Also, the gold is not really gold, more of a mustard type color which is perfect since the chair I bought to go with it is actually mustard as well.

Its not solid wood, and its not a desk that looks like you purchased it from Restoration Hardware or anything, but its absolutely better looking than most desks you can get for under 130. I paid 129 for it, and it arrived very quickly. Box was sort of heavy, but not too bad for one person to handle. The wood top isnt solid wood (duh), but its actually really nice looking.
Similar desks (identical desks, honestly) are listed on other sites for 189 and above and have extra shipping costs. I found it here for the lower price, with free shipping through Prime, and immediately bought it.

Im a single, millenial gay man who has no skills when it comes to putting things together, and it took me roughly an hour to assemble from start to finish (including opening the box / separating the parts). The instructions were actually really helpful, too, which is surprising for inexpensive furniture.
Id recommend it to anyone. Very, very nice product. Also much larger than I realized (this is because Im terrible at measuring) but Im making it work.
The only thing I might have changed was ordering a different color; not because the color is ugly (Im actually surprised, but I love it). The only reason Id change that is because it doesnt match my other furniture.
Just purchased for my new in home office thanks to covid19. For the price you cant beat it!! Its super sturdy and pretty. Husband put it together pretty quickly by himself. Im 510 and have plenty of leg room. I sometimes put my feet on the bottom bar and it doesnt feel cheap or like it would easily break. I have two monitors on it with plenty of extra room. I love the diagonal bars too bc I used those to zip tie all my computer wires to so it didnt look so messy.
Desk is great! I did have a small issue with one of the parts, but customer service was lightning fast to respond and quick to resolve the issue. Would absolutely recommend this product to anyone. Is very roomy and has lots of space. Materials feel awesome. Does not feel cheap in any way.
